Wigwam F2337 Charcoal Merino Wool Silk Hiker Socks are made of Merino wool and silk yarns. They are naturally insulated by the wool, and are naturally soft and plush.

The top of the sock is made with 1×1 extra stretch morpul: the appearance of a true rib, but having more elasticity. (The numerals represent the number of stitches in the raised part of the rib, by the number of stitches in the recessed part of the rib.) They have a 2×2 filet stitch ankle that gives the appearance of a true rib knit without the use of elastic, allowing lots of stretch. These crew length socks have a 6×2 mock rib filet stitch leg and instep, an elasticized arch panel, a “Y” heel pocket for better anatomical fit, and an ultra-smooth Lin-Toe closure. A Lin-Toe closure is when they align the knit loops at the edge of the sock’s toe using a single thread to join the knit fabric edges loop-for-loop. This type of closure leaves no ridge on the toe seam. You will never feel a bump from a toe seam inside your shoe again! No more blisters from active wear!
